Once this is turned on, it is on permanently so, youd have to edit the file again to turn it off.
Theres also a chance of death when a Sim is fighting a fire. In case you havent read about it, our favorite cheat does work with Sims Medieval, but youll have to edit a file to get it working, instead of just being able to type it into the console. If a fire breaks out, and your Sim is in the vicinity upon the moment of combustion, theres a chance of death. I've gone in and out of the game several times, tried resetting her individually, as well as the household. It can strike at any time with low level cooking.
